Washington Square is a 522 kW elevated rooftop solar canopy built by Universal Renewables. The array uses the W System and Flush Mount System and High Tilt System and stands 1–20 ft above the roof, anchored to a cement slab structure.

Washington Square is a 720,000 sq ft office building in downtown Washington, DC. According to the DC Sustainable Energy Utility case study, the canopy carries 1,290 panels, doubled the size of the installation, uses 90% of the roof area and produces more than 650,000 kWh a year. The project came fully online in February 2023.
